OUGD504 // Design for print and web // Concept and Idea

From the previous session we had on working out the brief, i went away and finalised the concept and idea with what i was going to do.

Concept
To inform and encourage the user that personal downtime and regular breaks at work is a neccesity for a balanced lifestyle and mental mindset.


The Idea
I am going to produce a range of products that encourages the user to take more regular breaks at work and have downtime at home, but not to the extent that it takes over.
The products will inform the user with ideas and ways that they can escape from their working world for 3 minutes and relax, de-stress and take their mind off everything.


Background
Busy Professionals are always on the go and always thinking about work, leaving themselves no time for a break, be that in the office or at home, this often results in the person being stressed and becoming ill.
Three minutes is all you need to relax, de-stress and have a break to refresh your mind before you start going again. At the end of the day, everybody should have a break.


Target Audience
- Working city professionals and commuters that have a busy schedule and are always on the go.
- They tend to be ‘on the go’ eaters and drinkers and have no time to stop and think.
- Often seen as a office worker with high - level stress jobs.
