Sketchbook//Book binding

From the previous post i was experimenting with book binding and trying out the technique that i had found online. After going and getting the right thread and more tools to make the process more accurate i decided to do another tester bind before i did y publication, just so i could get a feel for the new thread etc.

To make it more like the proper publication i used some card as a front cover and added more paper in-between, in the end i made a sketchbook for myself.

As you can see the binding has worked really well and held the book together, on this occasion i think i was trying to bind together too many pieces of paper because right near the end my needle broke, but that didn't worry me about doing my final publication because it was much thinner.
