OUGD503 // UK Greetings // Expanding the design

From designing the greetings cards i have created patterns for the cards, these patterns can effectively be transferred to any medium and used across all media. So i started to think of items which the patterns could be expanded across, and because it was greetings cards i thought best products would be stationery.

I have shown here two examples of the illustrations from the cards.

Here you can see items such as notebooks, diaries, calendars, pencil case, folder, filing unit and pencil pot. These are just a few to illustrate that the brand range i have created can be expanded and made into something more, if it was to be sold in shops like paperchase etc.

I think style of illustration would work well on these items and be something that is popular and would sell well too. The limitations for these illustrations are endless, but the products have to have some sort of relevance to the brand range.
