First i drew the Australian Map out
For the information for the map i had to find out accommodation for Australia, for this i thought it would be best using hostels as they are most popular with backpackers, so i looked on the YHA australia website to get locations in australia.

All these accommodation locations are on the map, the major cities i took off google maps and for the roads i overlaid a google map screenshot and traced the roads that way.
The tourist attractions are those which will be in the tourist attraction booklet, to get the locations for these i again used google maps.
Overlaying the google maps so i could trace the roads and find the major cities in each region.
Finished map - colour may still need to be revisited.
Whilst doing this i thought that maybe the map could be a fold out map from like A2 instead of doing a booklet for it, but then it wouldnt fit in with all the others, so i am unsure about it yet.
I realised that i had missed off tasmania on the map, so i have now done the same but for Tasmania
